National parks
National parks are Sweden's natural gems and they have the strongest form of nature protection. In Sweden today there are 30 national parks that represent different types of landscapes and nature with high natural and cultural values, therefore it is important to care for them. In Skåne there are three national parks: Dalby Söderskog, Stenshuvud and Söderåsen.
In national parks, the right of public access is usually restricted. Each national park has its own exceptions to the right of public access. Söderåsen National Park's management plan contains special regulations that can be read here.
