friluftsporten - part of Söderåsen
One of the sights is the almost circular Odensjön lake, which is surrounded by 30 meter high cliffs. Röstånga is located on the slope of Söderåsen. Röstånga is one of two entrances to Söderåsen National Park and the destination's tourist center with tourist information, swimming, camping and accommodation.
Röstånga got a railway station at the end of the 19th century and was already one of the early tourist destinations in Skåne in the 20th century. Lilla Bäljaneå, which flows through the village, is an important place for a variety of plant and animal life. Röstånga's differences in level and the water that flows through the village still characterize Röstånga today and contribute to its green character. The Skåne cycle path passes through here and Skåneleden has one of its signature trails running through the town. The gate is suitable for those who appreciate hiking and outdoor life. You can easily get to Röstånga by bus.
Please note that the right of public access is restricted in the national park and nature reserves and special rules apply. Read more here.
