This is the start of Söderåsen, and one of Sweden's signature trails!

Tingvalla is a beautiful forest area for exercise and recreation outside Åstorp. It is also a perfect entrance to the fantastic nature of Söderåsen. Here you leave civilization and go straight into wild forest with rippling streams, tall trees and cool cliffs. When you reach the top of the ridge, you can look out over the magnificent expanses of the Scanian plain. Choose whether you want to walk around the area on well-groomed forest trails or hike along Skåneleden, all the way to the other side of the ridge.

Refreshed area for children, dogs and walkers

The excellent location and the exciting nature have made Tingvalla a popular meeting place for families with children, dog owners, joggers and cyclists. Here you get real forest in a safe setting without dangerous cliffs. In recent years, the area has been improved with groomed forest trails and clearer markings.

Kalvahagen nature reserve

Discover the peaceful area suitable for walking, exercise, barbecues, play and learning. Here we have established a knowledge center with an outdoor museum, bee projects and an arboretum, which is a plantation with about 50 trees and shrubs that grow wild on Söderåsen, here you will also find a no-touch ground course for children. Kalvahagen is located on Odengatan, 1.5 km from Tingvalla.
