Åstorps Hembygdsförening
Perslunds hembygdsgård Hembygdsgården, also called Lindesgården after the last owners, is one of the village's best examples of an old half-timbered farm dating back to the 18th century, but the farm is certainly much older than that. The farm was originally located by Björnekulla church. In connection with the 1809 land transfer, it was moved, like many others, to a new location. Stone by stone and beam by beam, the buildings were dismantled and rebuilt on the current site. Most of the farm is a museum with a lot of content. Åstorps Hembygdsförening owns, manages and cares for the farm.
The homestead is open for spontaneous visits on Mondays at 13-16, but larger groups are asked to make an appointment for a tour, tel. 042-514 66.

Ancient memories
Varggropen in Stidsvig remains of how to catch wolves in the past, nearby there is also a burial ground from the Iron Age, the local community association has specially marked out to make it easy for visitors to get there. For more information contact the local history society roger.ragnarsson@hotmail.com
The burial ground in Perslund is Iron Age remains, which means that there was a community already 2000 years ago at the foot of the ridge. The burial ground was discovered at the end of the 19th century. This was when farmers drove their pigs along Svinavägen (Skogsgatan) to the oak grove to let them eat acorns. When the pigs roared, the graves were exposed.
